First thing I'll say is what a great bunch here!
I am currntly deep into a project involving a 88' 323 GT Hatch. During parts searching such as, Hybrid Sooby Turbo & Ext manifold, FMIC etc, I stumbled across a highly modded 87' GTX Hatch. After painful correspondance with seller, it turned up on my doorstep month before last.
I will list the Mods it has had over a period of say 5 years. I will add just a few pics below as they say 1000 words.
My biggest problem with install of all these components will be hiding the race bits like fuel-pressure lines & gauges, GT28 BP etc. Along with total harness revamp to suit the EMS, I have a horrid job ahead in te next few months. Time also constraining me.
Looking forward to sharing views perhaps & maybe even meeting a few members?

3" Dump and Exhaust, Xforce Stainless Metal Cat, 4inch MufflerHere are some pics of the GTX engine that will soon be mated to the 2WD MT Box with new Brass-Button Clutch, though very harsh on GBox, chosen purely for holding power on acceleration, affording driveline no slipage at all, a nice outcome from the 150-160wkw this powerplant already currently outputs. Also, a Chrome Moly Flywheel, coming from CorkSport in the US, will be installed for increased acceleration, much needed with the GT28 Garrett Turbo fitted to engine, to further minimise lag. Another mod will be narrowing the exhaust system by way of modified dump pipe 2 1/2" Cat Back ext system to hopefully further help reduce Turbo lag.
